Jana Pressler (b. 1997, Innsbruck, AT) is an artist working and living in Berlin and Copenhagen.
She is researching and creating processes for objects, photographic images, and installations. Her work explores economic, social, and institutional systems becoming embedded and manifesting in spaces, objects, imagery and routines. Recently, rummaging through iterations of conceptual and material surfaces and transparencies, she has worked on texts, photograms, and exhibition-scale installations. Her recent show [#] brought together glass works, photograms of unfolded cardboard boxes, and sculptural constructions with magnifying lenses, tracing snippets of architecture, image making, and the physicality of visual regimes.

She attended the JAI Institute of Artistic Practices, Donostia/San Sebastián and Vitoria-Gasteiz, ES (2024) and was an artist in residence at Medienfrische, Festival for Experimental Media Art, Bschlabs, AT (2022) and The Artist Residence, Herzliya, IL (2022).
Her work is included in the public collection of Sculpture Museum Glaskasten, Marl, DE and in the collection of APCOA Austria, AT.
