Jana Pressler (b. 1997, Innsbruck, AT) is an artist working and living in Berlin and Copenhagen.
She is researching and creating processes for objects, photographic images, and installations. Her work explores economic, social, and institutional systems becoming embedded and manifesting in spaces, objects, imagery and routines. Recently, rummaging through iterations of conceptual and material surfaces and transparencies, she has worked on texts, photograms, and exhibition-scale installations.

Her work was featured in Camera Austria, no. 174 (2026), Dynamic Futures, Foto Wien, ed. by Felix Hoffmann, Steidl Verlag (2025), The first 30 years - Photography, ed. by Anja Manfredi, Fotohof Verlag Salzburg (2022) and UND Heft, Innsbruck, AT (2021).
Her work is included in the public collection of Sculpture Museum Glaskasten, Marl, DE.
She was recently awarded with the IBB Award for Photography 2026, the Germany Scholarship and the Grant for Young Artists by HVB Unicredit Bank.
